01 / The honest read
This is a 3 to 6 month compounding play, and starting now is lucky
LinkedIn can produce booked calls for this offer, but not on the timeline anyone wants. Realistically: 0 to 3 free 10-minute calls before 5 October, then 1 to 2 free calls a week from mid-October, converting to 2 to 4 paid ₪250 consultations a month by December, with a first LinkedIn-sourced Viability Assessment somewhere in November or December. Anyone selling a faster number off an empty profile with roughly zero followers is lying.
The binding constraint is not content quality and it is not the algorithm. It is 4 to 5 hours a week of Tom's own attention, sustained for eight consecutive weeks, and the non-negotiable half of that is about 20 minutes a day of manual commenting. If that cannot hold through two live client builds, halve every target in this document rather than pretending.
What will not work, stated flatly
Posting as a lead source. Nobody goes viral in Hebrew B2B from zero. Content's only job in weeks 1 to 8 is to make a connection request land.
Cold DMs at volume to Israeli ops and finance managers. They ignore LinkedIn DMs. Reach them through their accountants, their ERP implementers and their own job ads.
A Company Page as a distribution channel. Organic Page reach is a rounding error. Build it for the logo.
Buying Sales Navigator in August. The free trial is single use per 365 days. Burning it during "נדבר אחרי החגים" destroys the option for the month it matters.
Any third-party automation tool. See section 02. This is an account-death risk, not a grey area.
Reaching the מוסך/יבואן owner-operator at all. He is not here. A plan that pretends otherwise gets sharp for nobody.
What the eight week dead window actually buys
The gap between now and October is the asset. By 5 October the plan produces a finished profile, a connection graph, an artifact library and 18 to 22 published posts. Starting inside the dead window is lucky: it is the cheapest eight weeks of the year to publish your first twenty posts badly.
The one thing that would destroy this outright
Agent-written posts. Tom's voice and his honesty about constraints are his only differentiators, and both die first in a draft-and-rubber-stamp pipeline. The pipeline in section 05 is voice-note-first. That is a hard rule, not a preference.
Judge month one on posts shipped and connection acceptance rate, not revenue. Judge October on DM reply rate against a finished profile.
Contested calls, already decided
Question
How the specialists split
Decision and why
Company Page now or month 3?
profile and access-api said now. content said month 3, on the grounds that an empty page is worse than none.
Now, this week. The LinkedIn dev app cannot be created without an associated Page, so it is a hard dependency. The grey generic-building icon on the Experience entry is also the single worst "may not exist" signal on the profile. Seed 3 posts before it is discoverable. Never treat it as a channel.
Can we post to Tom's personal profile via API?
access-api said yes, w_member_social is an Open Permission. profile said heavily restricted and effectively unavailable.
access-api is right. Verified live against the docs today. Share on LinkedIn grants text, image and PDF carousel posting to urn:li:person:{sub} with no review. Single most useful technical finding in the set.
Headline
Three candidates.
Restaurant-first was the recommendation. Truncation eats everything past roughly 50 characters in comments and DM previews, and "Restaurant owner turned software builder" lands inside 39. This one is now reopened. See section 04.
Bilingual headline?
outbound-dm proposed Hebrew and English in one field.
Rejected. RTL text mixed with pipe separators scrambles in LinkedIn's renderer. English base profile, Hebrew secondary profile version.
Cadence
2 a week floor vs 3 vs 5.
Floor of 2 posts plus 25 comments a week, ceiling of 3 posts. A floor survives a build week. A target does not. Comments are the non-droppable half.
Language mix
60/40 vs 70/30.
70% Hebrew, 30% English, allocated by pillar, never alternating. Pillar-based allocation stops every second post reaching the wrong audience.
Featured slot 1
Sample spec vs the demos.
Sample spec. The demos impress. The spec sells the ₪1,500 to ₪2,500 rung by removing "what am I even buying."
Sales Navigator
Now vs October.
October. The free trial is single use per 365 days.
02 / What is automatable and what is not
The API buys exactly one useful thing, and it is bigger than expected
A self-serve LinkedIn app in 2026 grants two products and only two: Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect and Share on LinkedIn (w_member_social). Both are Open Permissions, granted in minutes, no review. That is enough to programmatically publish text, image and PDF carousel posts straight to Tom's personal profile.
Granted instantly
Personal profile publishing
POST /rest/posts, /rest/images, /rest/documents, owner urn:li:person:{sub}. No Page needed. PDF carousels up to 100MB and 300 pages, which is the highest reach format on the platform and it is free.
Needs vetting, 50/50 odds
Company Page posting and post analytics
Both sit inside the Community Management API: w_organization_social for Page posts, r_member_postAnalytics for per-post analytics on Tom's own posts. Requires a verified business email, a verified organization and a Page-verified app. One shot per app. Rejection means building a brand new app.
Unreachable at any price
DMs, connections, search, profile edits
No API exists. SNAP is CRM display, not message sending, and both SNAP and Community Management Standard tier require a productised app with third-party users, a screencast and test credentials. There is also no write-profile API, and Member Data Portability is EEA plus Switzerland only, so Israel is excluded.
Third-party automation tools are banned permanently
User Agreement 8.2 explicitly bans bots that add or download contacts, send or redirect messages, or create, comment on, like, share or re-share posts. In 2026 LinkedIn removed HeyReach's Company Page and the personal profiles of its CTO, CRO and CMO, confirmed by HeyReach's own CEO on 8 July 2026. The vendor's own founders lost the exact asset Tom is trying to build. Dripify, Expandi, PhantomBuster, Waalaxy, Aimfox, LaGrowthMachine, HeyReach and every Chrome-extension equivalent are permanently banned from this account.
Internal flag:connections.md line 92 lists Apify as active for "Social/LinkedIn scraping." That entry gets an explicit annotation today: it may never touch a LinkedIn session cookie belonging to Tom. Public-page fetching only, never from his logged-in identity.

The API reality
Create LinkedIn Company Page
Tom, 35 min once
Requires his logged-in session and a verified tom@octomonic.com. Hard prerequisite for the dev app.
Create developer app, request products
Tom, 15 min once
App name must contain no fragment of "LinkedIn" or "Microsoft" or it is auto-rejected. Both products are Open Permissions, granted instantly.
OAuth wiring, token store, expiry monitor
McLead
scripts/lib/linkedin.py plus scripts/linkedin_auth.py. Token lasts 60 days with no programmatic refresh for non-partners. Re-auth is one browser click about 6 times a year, and it is silent with no consent screen if done before expiry. Monitor alerts at T minus 7.
Publishing text, image and PDF carousel posts to Tom's personal profile
McLead builds, Tom approves each
Genuinely automatable today. No Page needed, no review. This is the whole technical win.
Posting to the Company Page
Needs Community Mgmt API
Requires w_organization_social, a Page-verified app and registered-org vetting. Apply week 5 or 6, not week 1.
Analytics on Tom's own personal posts
Needs Community Mgmt API
r_member_postAnalytics unlocks FOLLOWER_GAINED_FROM_CONTENT and PROFILE_VIEW_FROM_CONTENT, the closest thing to attribution LinkedIn gives. Roughly 50/50 approval odds for an Osek Murshe. One shot per app.
Analytics fallback that ships this week
McLead builds, Tom clicks download
Native XLSX export from his own Analytics view, into scripts/linkedin_ingest.py, out as a weekly AM-brief section. Zero ToS surface, zero dependency on approval, about 3 minutes a week of Tom.
Link previews for shared URLs
McLead
The Posts API does not scrape URLs. Thumbnail, title and description must be supplied by us through the Images API.
Editing the profile: headline, About, experience
Tom, manual, forever
There is no write-profile API, and Member Data Portability excludes Israel.
Connection requests, DMs, InMail, people search, profile views, exporting connections
Tom, manual, forever
No API at any price. Automating any of it is the HeyReach outcome.
Commenting
Tom, manual, forever
100% him. This is the actual distribution channel. An agent-written comment presence is detectable and self-defeating.
Target list building, per-person research, draft notes, ledger, caps tracking
McLead
All off-platform, from public sources. Name search and browsing his own 1st-degree connections do not count against the commercial use limit, so handing him named lists preserves his entire search quota.
Post drafting
Split
Tom speaks it, McLead assembles it, Tom writes the first line and the last line. Non-negotiable. See section 05.
Today, Wednesday 12 August. Tom, about 90 minutes.
Order matters. The Page must exist before the app, and the app must exist before anything is automatable. Experience entries go in after the Page so the logo renders instead of the grey building.
Create the Company Page first
Go to linkedin.com/company/setup/new. Name OctoMonic. Industry IT Services and IT Consulting. Website octomonic.com, size 1-10 employees, location Israel, real founded year. Upload the logo from assets/branding/.
Tagline, 120 char cap
Automation and custom software for Israeli businesses. Built, deployed and maintained end to end.
Do not publish it empty. McLead has three reshare posts queued to seed the feed the moment it goes live.
Create the developer app
linkedin.com/developers/apps/new. App name OctoMonic AIOS Publisher. LinkedIn auto-rejects any app name containing a fragment of "LinkedIn" or "Microsoft". Associate LinkedIn Page = OctoMonic. Upload the logo.
Verify the app against the Page
From the Page, go to Admin tools, then Verify, then approve. Tom is super admin approving his own request. The request expires in 30 days if ignored.
Products tab, request access to both
Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect and Share on LinkedIn. Both are Open Permissions, granted in minutes, no review.
Auth tab, then send the credentials to McLead
Add redirect URL http://localhost:8765/callback, then send Client ID and Primary Client Secret to McLead by DM. McLead writes them to .env as LINKEDIN_CLIENT_ID and LINKEDIN_CLIENT_SECRET and registers them in connections.md. Never paste them into a post, a commit, or a session log.
Claim the custom URL
Priority order: /in/tomlevi, then /in/tomlevi-octomonic, then /in/tom-levi-octomonic. Do not keyword-stuff. /in/tom-levi-ai-automation-israel reads spammy in an email signature and pins him to one category forever.
Photo, shot this morning on a phone
Head and shoulders only, eyes on the upper third, face filling roughly 60% of frame. LinkedIn renders this at about 48px in comments, so anything below the collarbone is wasted. Plain mid-tone or dark wall, never white, which blows out against LinkedIn's UI and makes the head appear to float. Face a window, 10 to 11am light, never a ceiling light. One solid mid-to-dark colour, no logo, no pattern. Real smile.
Test: shrink it to 48px. If he is not instantly recognisable and approachable, reshoot. Hard no on an AI-generated headshot. The tells are widely recognised in 2026, and for an AI practitioner that is a self-inflicted credibility kill.
Paste the profile fields, in this order
Headline, then About, then Experience times three, then Education, then Projects, then Skills. All copy is in section 04. Experience goes in after the Page exists so the logo renders.
Settings pass, 25 minutes
Turn ONProviding services. Categories: Custom Software Development, Web Development, IT Consulting, Business Analytics, Project Management.
Turn OFF and never enableOpen to work. For a founder selling to businesses, that badge says the company is not working.
Public profile visibility to full and public.
Profile viewing set to your full name, private mode off. "Tom Levi viewed your profile" is a free, legitimate warm touch before any DM.
Leave Make follow primaryOFF. He needs Connect as the primary button until roughly 1,000 connections, because DMs require connections.
Creator Mode no longer exists. Do not go hunting for the dead "Talks about" field, because that top-5 hashtag box was removed along with the toggle.
Contact info, three website links with custom labels
Almost nobody uses the label field, which is exactly why it works.
Book a free 10-min call to octomonic.com/book
10 live product demos to octomonic.com/demos
Sample spec (full document) to octomonic.com/sample/viability-assessment-sample.html
Add tom@octomonic.com as the profile email.
Add the Hebrew profile version
Profile, then Add profile in another language, then Hebrew. Name field is exactly תום לוי. Never put Tom Levi | תום לוי or a title in the name field. LinkedIn actively flags name-field extras and this account is a business asset.
Today, McLead, in parallel, about 4 hours
Blocker 1
Open Graph tags, before anything is Featured
octomonic.com/sample/viability-assessment-sample.html has no Open Graph tags at all. Featured today, the most important item on the profile renders as a bare grey card with a raw URL. octomonic.com/demos/ inherits the generic homepage OG card, so it looks identical to the homepage.
Ship page-specific og:title, og:description and og:image at 1200x630 for both, force a re-scrape through linkedin.com/post-inspector since LinkedIn caches previews for about 7 days, then paste the resulting preview back to Tom as proof.
Blocker 2
UTM capture and first-party attribution, before a single click arrives
The Notion Leads DB holds exactly 2 rows, both Tom's own tests. The funnel has never processed a real stranger. There is zero UTM capture anywhere on the site, so a LinkedIn lead is today indistinguishable from a walk-in.
Add ?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=<profile|featured|post|dm>&utm_campaign=<slug> propagation into the booking form, a source field on the Notion lead record, and an n8n beacon. Then walk the whole funnel once as a cold stranger in a private window and confirm a row lands. Both fixes are cheap at zero volume and impossible to backfill later. GA4 is not the decision surface.
Banner render
1584 x 396, and the safe zone is only the right two-thirds
The profile photo circle covers the lower-left on desktop and the banner centre-crops on mobile, so the entire usable safe zone is the right two-thirds, vertically centred.
Concept: dark ground in the OctoMonic palette, and on the right a real, legible fragment of the price-intelligence pipeline architecture. Nodes, edges, one green OK state, one amber alert, every client identifier stripped. One line of text at 40px or larger, because banners render at roughly one third scale on mobile and anything smaller is illegible decoration. Plus octomonic.com small in the corner.
Banner line, English
I build the system. I also get the alert when it breaks.
Banner line, mirrored RTL version for the Hebrew profile
אני בונה את המערכת. אני גם זה שמקבל את ההתראה כשהיא נשברת.
Banned: stock photos, skylines, glowing brains, hexagon-network AI clip art, logo walls.
The redaction pass on the diagram is a real obligation. One leftover product name, SKU pattern or hostname breaches the never-name-the-client constraint permanently and publicly.
04 / The profile
Paste-ready copy
Every block below has its own copy button. What lands in your clipboard is exactly what goes into LinkedIn, dashes and bullet characters included, because LinkedIn strips markdown and those punctuation marks are literal.
Decision required · Tom only
The recommended headline and About both lead with the restaurant. You killed that in August.
The strategy work below recommends "Restaurant owner turned software builder" as the headline, and an About whose third paragraph opens "Before this I spent about eight years in food, five of them owning and running my own restaurant."
On 5 August 2026 you explicitly instructed that the restaurant background be removed from all OctoMonic copy. That instruction is encoded in the website's LanguageContext as rule 3e: no origin story, do not restore it and do not substitute a different origin story. The five specialists who produced this plan were never told about that rule. That was an omission in the briefing, not your decision changing.
The argument for keeping it on LinkedIn
A personal profile is a different context from a marketing site. On a company website an origin story is filler that delays the offer. On a founder's own profile it is humanising, specific, and hard to fake, which is exactly the currency of the platform. It is also the only clause on the page that no competitor can copy, it survives the 50-character truncation that eats every other headline in a comment thread, and it is the load-bearing explanation for why you work backwards from margin rather than from features. Three of the twenty-two recommended skills and one of the five content pillars are built on it too.
The argument against
You already made this call, deliberately, and wrote it into the codebase so it would not drift back. Reopening it here means the rule holds only where it is mechanically enforced, which is how a positioning decision quietly dies. There is also a coherence cost: a visitor who reads the site and then the profile gets two different framings of the same person, and the profile is the one that ranks in a Google search of your name.
If you keep the restaurant, it also touches: Experience entry 3 (the restaurant role itself), three of the pinned-adjacent skills (Operations Management, P&L Management, Restaurant Management), content pillar 5 (Operator's Lens, 10% of output), and the hook of Post 1 on 16 August. Variant B removes it from the headline and About only. If you go restaurant-free, say whether entry 3 and pillar 5 go with it.
This is your call, not ours. Both variants are written and ready below. Pick one and paste it.
Headline, two variants
The headline's job is not search. Nobody is searching "automation Israel" and landing on a 40-connection profile. Its job is winning the click when Tom's name sits in a comment thread next to twenty people calling themselves AI automation consultants, and only about 50 to 70 characters survive truncation in that context.
Variant A · as recommended
Restaurant-first
185 characters. The plan's pick. Lands the differentiating clause inside the first 39 characters, which is the only part that survives truncation.
Headline A
Restaurant owner turned software builder | I automate the manual work inside Israeli businesses — and you own the spec, whether or not I build it | Founder, OctoMonic | Hebrew & English
Variant B · restaurant-free
Job-to-be-done
175 characters. The plan's own runner-up, chosen here because it is the only alternative that opens with a customer sentence rather than a category label. Its weakness is that the first 30 characters are a setup whose payoff sits past the truncation point.
Headline B
I turn "I have an idea" into a build-ready spec you own | Automation & custom software, designed and maintained by me | Founder, OctoMonic | Free 10-min call | Hebrew & English
Third option, also restaurant-free
The plan's category-first runner-up. Safest of the three and the least distinctive, since the opening clause is a category label that a dozen competitors also use.
Headline C, category-first
Automation & custom software for Israeli businesses | Founder, OctoMonic | I design, build, deploy and maintain the system myself | Free 10-min call before you spend anything | Hebrew & English
Hebrew headline, for the Hebrew profile version
This is the restaurant version. It opens מסעדן שהפך למפתח, which is the direct translation of "Restaurant owner turned software builder", so it carries the same decision. If Variant B wins, this string needs rewriting before it is pasted, and the Hebrew About below needs the same paragraph swap.
Hebrew headline, 123 chars, restaurant version
מסעדן שהפך למפתח | בונה אוטומציה ותוכנה בהתאמה אישית לעסקים בישראל — והאפיון נשאר שלך, גם אם לא תבנה איתי | מייסד OctoMonic
About, two variants
Roughly 2,050 of the 2,600 available characters. The first 209 characters are engineered as the pre-"see more" hook: a concrete verifiable system fact with no self-description in it. That opening is byte-identical in both variants and must not be touched. The variants differ in exactly one paragraph, the third.
Formatting: LinkedIn strips markdown, so the middot bullets are literal characters. Keep them. No emoji. No hashtag line at the bottom, which does nothing and reads as 2019.
Variant A · as recommended
About, with the restaurant paragraph
The plan's copy, verbatim. Paragraph 3 carries the origin story.
About A, full text
Every night, a system I built checks the price of 1,121 products across 8 competitor websites and messages a human the moment a margin breaks. Ten scheduled jobs, each one alerting on failure instead of failing quietly. I designed it, built it, deployed it, and I'm the one who gets the alert when it breaks.
I'm Tom. I run OctoMonic — automation and custom software for businesses in Israel.
Before this I spent about eight years in food, five of them owning and running my own restaurant. That's where I learned what a thin margin feels like on a Tuesday, and why most "digital transformation" dies quietly: it solves a problem nobody was actually paying for.
So I work backwards from the money. What's being re-typed. What's being missed. What breaks when one person is out for two weeks.
What I do, concretely:
· Turn an idea or a messy process into a build-ready technical spec — scope, architecture, stack, real costs, real risks. You own the document. Build it with me or take it to any other developer. That's the deal, not a sales line.
· Build it — web apps, internal tools, data pipelines, scrapers, n8n workflows, WhatsApp automation, dashboards. Next.js, Node, Python, Postgres.
· Keep it running — monitoring, alerting, and someone to call. Automation usually fails in month four, not week one.
On AI: I don't sell "AI strategy." I run a multi-agent system that operates my own business — daily briefs, monitoring, research, drafting, and a 24/7 agent I talk to on WhatsApp. Running it in production is how I know where these systems actually break and what they should never be trusted with. That's what I bring to your AI question.
Two things I'll say on a first call that most people won't: if the process should be fixed rather than automated, I'll tell you. If the build is bigger than the problem, I'll tell you that too.
Where to start: a free 10-minute call at octomonic.com. No deck, no discovery form. You describe what you're dealing with, I tell you whether there's something worth building and roughly what it costs.

About, paragraph 3 replaced
Every other paragraph is byte-identical to Variant A. The replacement keeps the same rhetorical job, which is earning the line "So I work backwards from the money", but grounds it in production experience instead of biography.

I'm Tom. I run OctoMonic — automation and custom software for businesses in Israel.
I've put enough systems into live businesses to know which ones survive. The ones that stick are the ones where somebody could tell me what the problem was costing before we wrote a line of code. That's why most "digital transformation" dies quietly: it solves a problem nobody was actually paying for.
So I work backwards from the money. What's being re-typed. What's being missed. What breaks when one person is out for two weeks.

Two things to check before you paste either one
1. Edit it. If you cannot find one word to change, you did not read it. This is your voice or it is nobody's.
2. Sanity-check one claim. "I'm the one who gets the alert when it breaks" must stay literally true. If alerting ever routes only to a client-side channel, soften the line.
Hebrew About, for the Hebrew profile version
Constraint most people miss: the secondary-language profile carries only name, headline, About and job titles or descriptions. It does not carry Featured, Skills, Education detail, recommendations or the Services page. So the Hebrew About has to be self-sufficient and carry its own links inline, because a Hebrew reader has no other path to the demos or the spec.
This is the restaurant version, matching Variant A. Paragraph 3 (לפני זה הייתי כשמונה שנים בעולם המסעדנות) is the one that needs replacing if Variant B wins.
Hebrew About, about 1,770 chars, restaurant version
Next.js, Node, Python, Postgres.

Experience, three entries, and no invented engineering job history
Entry 1 · Founder, OctoMonic
Type: Self-employed. Location: Israel, Hybrid. Start date: the real Osek Murshe registration month. Do not backdate. LinkedIn displays the duration, and a backdate is exactly what gets caught in a reference call.
Experience entry 1, description
OctoMonic builds and maintains automation and custom software for businesses in Israel. I'm the one doing the work — design, build, deploy, and the phone call when something breaks.
I don't publish client names. Here's what I can describe:
COMPETITOR PRICE INTELLIGENCE — Israeli retail
· 1,121 products price-checked every night against 8 competitor websites
· 8 separate parsers, each a different site structure and a different anti-bot posture
· 10 scheduled jobs, every one of them alerting a human on failure rather than failing silently
· Postgres, Python, a dedicated VM, and a dashboard the client actually opens
· A second project for the same client is signed and in build
HOW I SELL, IN ORDER
· Free 10-minute call — is there anything here worth building
· 30-minute paid consultation (₪250+VAT) — a real technical answer, not a sales call
· Viability Assessment (₪1,500-₪2,500+VAT) — your idea or your process turned into a build-ready spec: scope, architecture, stack, cost, risks. You own it. Build it with me or take it to another developer.
· Build engagement + retainer — implementation, plus someone who keeps it running
STACK
Next.js, React, Node, Python, Postgres/Neon, Supabase, n8n, Vercel, WhatsApp Business API, LLM orchestration (Claude, Gemini, Groq), ZenRows/Apify for data acquisition.

Two expiry risks on this entry
The 1,121 and 8 sites figures must be re-verified against live GPI state on publish day and re-checked quarterly, or the profile becomes quietly false. And "a second project for the same client is signed and in build" expires the moment it ships. McLead sets a ledger reminder to reword it.
Entry 2 · Co-Founder, Monesys
Experience entry 2, description
Co-founded with Reey Yadin. A creator monetization platform — payments, subscriptions and tiering for creators. Pre-launch: built, in production, not yet publicly launched.
My side: architecture and full-stack build — Next.js, Supabase, Stripe embedded checkout and customer portal, tiered access.
Entry 3 · Owner / Operator, [restaurant name], about 5 years
The plan marks this entry as not optional and not buried. It is the same decision as the headline and About. If Variant B wins on those, decide explicitly whether this entry stays. Keeping the entry while removing the story from the headline and About is a defensible middle position: the history stays verifiable and dated for the ops-manager reader doing a background check, but it stops being the first thing anyone reads.
Experience entry 3, description
Owned and ran a restaurant for about five years: hiring, payroll, suppliers, inventory, POS, and the part where you close the month and find out whether the last thirty days were worth it. Also a silent partner in a second restaurant.
Two things carried over into what I do now. I read a P&L before I read a requirements document. And I know what it costs an owner to change how his staff works — which is why I won't automate a process that should be deleted.
Rules for the pre-OctoMonic gap
Do not create a fake "Freelance Developer 2019 to 2025" entry. This is the single most common career-changer mistake and the one thing a technical buyer smells instantly, because the entry has no artifacts behind it.
Gaps between the restaurant and OctoMonic need no explanation. Founders are never asked.
Real personal projects from that window (Reshima, The Ledger and so on) go in the Projects section with honest dates. Legitimate, and it visibly answers "when did he learn to code" without one invented claim.
Business degree goes to Education, plain. No "coursework included."
AIOS goes in Projects, never as an employer.
Featured, in this order, built in two waves
Desktop shows about 2 cards before horizontal scroll. Mobile shows 1. Positions 1 and 2 take almost all the clicks.
Why the spec beats the demos for position 1: it is the only asset that shows a stranger exactly what they receive at the rung Tom wants them on, and it serves both buyers at once. The idea-stage founder sees a tangible artifact. The ops manager sees rigour and a document he can take to his boss.

Do not feature
Monesys (pre-launch, nothing clickable, splits the story), the AIOS repo, anything behind a login.
Skills, 22 total, three pinned
Pin these three. They appear on the profile and drive search matching.
Business Process AutomationFull-Stack DevelopmentArtificial Intelligence (AI)
Business Process Automation is the ops manager's search term. Full-Stack Development answers the idea-stage founder's "can he actually build my thing." Artificial Intelligence is a broad match in the category he genuinely operates in.
The last three are on the list deliberately. They are the only skills that back up the restaurant entry and the headline, and they make him findable to the operator-minded buyer who would otherwise file him as another developer. They are therefore inside the section 04 decision. If the restaurant goes, Restaurant Management goes with it, and Operations Management plus P&L Management become unsupported claims with nothing on the profile behind them.
Soft and abstract skills dilute the matching signal and are what an empty profile looks like. Prompt Engineering dates badly and reads junior next to "runs a multi-agent system in production." Cap at about 22. Do not list 50.
Endorsements: do not chase them. One exception: after each project closes, ask that contact to endorse the two or three specific skills the project actually used.
"Talks about" topics
There is no such field anymore
Creator Mode was sunset. Featured and newsletters became available to everyone, and the top-5 hashtag box was removed along with the toggle. Do not go hunting for it.
The functional replacement is topical consistency in the posts themselves. LinkedIn's classifier stabilises around 10 to 15 posts on a consistent subject. The five pillars in section 05 are the "talks about."
One profile, two readers
Do not build two profiles and do not hedge the top card. Both buyers are buying the same first rung, which is a straight technical read before spending real money, so headline, photo and the first About paragraph stay single-minded. The fork happens lower down the page.
Reader 1, primary volume
Idea-stage founder, in discovery mode
Arrives from a comment. Reads headline, then the About hook, then jumps straight to Featured. He is asking "can this person build my thing and will he tell me the truth about it." Served by Featured 1 and 2. Converts fast and emotionally.
Reader 2, arrives referred
Ops manager at a mid-size firm, in verification mode
Does not read the About first. Scans Experience for a coherent history, checks whether the company logo is real, looks for evidence that things Tom built are still running. He is asking "will this person exist in a year and can I defend this internally." Served by the Company Page logo, three dated Experience entries, the "10 scheduled jobs, every one alerting on failure" line, and the month-four paragraph. Converts slowly and defensively.
Expect 80% or more of LinkedIn-sourced free calls in Q1 to be idea-stage. Ops-manager conversions come almost entirely via DM or referral, with the profile acting as a pass/fail gate. Do not read low ops-manager volume as profile failure. Read it as channel reality.
05 / The content engine
Comments are the channel. Posts are the landing page people hit after clicking his name.
For the first 8 weeks the ratio is 10 comments per 1 post. Everything else in this section is downstream of that.

Language rule: roughly 70% Hebrew and 30% English, allocated by pillar, never mechanically alternating, and never bilingual inside one post, because RTL and LTR mixing renders badly and halves the hook. Never the same content in both languages in the same week. If he wants both, space them 10 to 14 days and rewrite from scratch, never translate. The one legitimate bridge: publish in English, then post a Hebrew summary as the first comment, which also gives him a real reason to be first in his own comments.
Format ranking for 2026
Ranked by reach
Document / PDF carousel. Highest engagement of any format, 2 to 3 times the organic reach of the others, and completely faceless. This is his number one.
Multi-image, 3 to 5 screenshots.
Screen recording, 20 to 40 seconds, no face, no voice, burned-in captions. His only video format.
Text only. Lowest reach.
Ranked by conversion, which is inverted
Text beats carousel beats screen recording. Narrow text posts attract the exact person, and the DM comes out of the comment thread.
So: carousels for reach, text for the weeks he wants conversations.
Do not use: polls, talking-head video, reposts with a one-line comment, or "comment DEMO and I'll send it", which is the engagement bait he has already ruled out.
Video reality check
2026 video reach is down 35% to 72% on poor completion while video usage is up 69%. A founder with no camera comfort is being pushed into the most crowded, worst-performing format. Screen recordings of his own demos sidestep both: short, visual, legible on mute, zero production. Cap at one per fortnight until he has completion data.
Link rule, non-negotiable
Posts with an external link lose about 60% of reach. Every link goes in the first comment, posted within 60 seconds. Featured carries the permanent links.
Carousel spec: 8 to 10 slides, one idea per slide, 6 to 12 words per slide. Slide 1 is the hook verbatim from the post body. Last slide is a real screenshot, not a CTA. Build at 1080x1350, export PDF, publish via /rest/documents.
The first 14 days, specific posts
Week 0Wed 12 to Thu 13 AugProfile only. No posting.
Every comment sends people to the profile, so commenting before it is finished wastes the traffic. Build the 40-name target list, follow all 40, notification bell on the top 10, 5 comments a day.
Post 1Sun 16 Aug, 09:00 IDT · Hebrew · text · pillar 5A real position with the origin embedded
Not a "hi, I'm starting to post" post. That genre is banned.
Hook
ניהלתי מסעדה חמש שנים לפני שהתחלתי לכתוב קוד בשביל פרנסה. בגלל זה אני מוריד ללקוחות חצי מהפיצ׳רים שהם מבקשים.
Body: what thin margins taught him about which automation is real, then the question he asks instead of "what do you want to build", then close on the honest line that most ideas fail that question and that is a good outcome.
The question, verbatim
כמה זה עולה לך היום, בשעות או בשקלים, בשבוע?
No link, no CTA. Its job is to be what people find when his comments make them click his name. This post is inside the section 04 decision, since the hook is the restaurant.

Slides: the buyer checking 40 products by hand and calling it the catalogue, then the dashboard, then the Hebrew margin email arriving before the workday, then the decision that makes or breaks it (which system is the source of truth for cost), then הדמו פתוח, לינק בתגובה. Link goes in the first comment.
Post 3Sun 23 Aug, 09:00 · English · PDF carousel · pillar 4The forwardable one
Hook
I gave five AI agents write access to my business. The interesting part is not what they do. It is the actions they cannot take without my signature.
Body: what they actually run (morning brief, monitoring, 24/7 WhatsApp operator, a console), then the governance layer (approval gate, queue, registered handler, audit log), then the honest half, which is the actual differentiator: the failure mode where an agent narrates a check it never ran, and the standing rule he wrote in response, "narration without evidence is hallucination." Almost nobody writes about this. It is the most shareable single idea he owns.
McLead must verify before this ships
The content specialist cited "45 write-actions, 53 handlers, 22 surfaces." Those numbers are unverified in this pass. Check them against the repo. If they do not check out to the number, the post says "the actions" and not a figure. No invented numbers, ever.

If completion and reach are decent, video becomes a fortnightly slot. If not, drop it and stay on documents. Decide from data, not preference.
Three forwardable assets, weeks 2, 4 and 5
Reach beyond a zero-follower network requires posts a stranger forwards to a colleague. That happens with a reusable artifact or a counter-consensus claim with receipts. He has both.
Asset 1 · carousel · English · week 4
Ten systems, all clickable
One slide per demo: screenshot plus the business problem in one line. The most forwardable thing he owns, precisely because it is useful to someone who will never hire him.

Asset 2 · carousel · English · week 2
The agent-governance carousel
This is Post 3 above, built as a carousel. Genuinely counter-consensus in 2026: the feed is full of people claiming agent autonomy, and he is one of very few with a running system who will say out loud that autonomy without an approval gate is a liability.

Every fourth teardown, run it as self-critique instead: "this demo has a problem I haven't solved yet." Self-critique outperforms self-promotion on shares and it is his natural register.

Do not go to 5 a week. The "5x posts equals 12x growth" claim is SEO noise. For a founder with two live builds it produces slop, and slop is unrecoverable for a technical seller.
Batching: one 90-minute block on Sunday morning produces the whole week's posts. Comments are daily and mobile. If Sunday is lost to a build, the post count drops to 1 and the comments do not drop at all. Comments are the load-bearing half.
Timing: Sunday to Wednesday, 08:30 to 10:00 IDT for the Israeli-buyer pillars. Tuesday to Thursday 09:00 IDT for English pillar-4 posts, which catches the Israel morning plus the European start of day. Never Friday, never Saturday.
Chagim adaptation, now until 4 October: shift to pillars 1, 3 and 4, none of which require a buying decision, and idea-stage people keep scrolling. Cut pillar 2 to roughly one post a month, since ops and finance managers are on vacation with kids. Do not attempt to close anything. Book for October.
The anti-slop pipeline: what agents do and what Tom does
The pipeline, and it is a hard rule
Tom talks 3 to 4 minutes into his phone about one topic. He already voice-records meetings, so this is his native format.
An agent transcribes and returns the transcript split into candidate post units, verbatim. Cut and reorder only. Never rewritten.
Tom picks one, edits it down, and writes the first line and the last line himself. Always.
Nothing publishes that Tom did not speak first. No post exists that started as an agent draft he approved.
Cost: about 12 to 15 minutes per post instead of about 40, and the words are literally his.
Agents do
Transcription and verbatim splitting
Mining his own commits, session logs and voice recordings for "here are 6 things you actually did or said this week worth a post", each with the verbatim quote or commit attached
Research substrate with sources
Carousel layout, screenshot capture and cropping, caption burning
The Sunday batch pack and the daily comment-target digest
The fact-check pass
Scheduling and publishing on his go
Agents never touch
The first line of any post, since hooks are where AI voice is most detectable
The last line
Any comment on anyone else's post. 100% Tom, forever.
Any DM
Any opinion, judgment or claim sentence. An agent may write "the system reads 1,121 products nightly." It may not write "and that's why most retailers are flying blind."
Mechanical enforcement, built into code rather than into good intentions
Source gate. The publisher refuses to queue a post whose frontmatter lacks a source: field pointing at something real: a commit, a demo URL, a screenshot, a decision doc, a scrape run. The feed is then mechanically constrained to be a log of real work.
Fact-check and blocklist agent (memory/feedback_linkedin_voice.md). Rejects any draft containing a client name, branch count, category, city or real SKU, any number without a repo source, and the 2026 slop fingerprint: one-sentence-per-line staccato throughout, "Here's the thing.", "Let that sink in.", "The result?", "It's not X. It's Y." as a closer, rhetorical-question openers, emoji bullets, "In today's fast-paced world", generic "3 lessons" lists, and premium / boutique / high-end.
The final test: Tom reads the post aloud in Hebrew. If he cringes, it isn't his and it doesn't ship.
Screenshots of his own ChatGPT or Claude conversations. The most recognisable slop signal in 2026, and it reads as "I have no work of my own to show." Inversion: a screenshot of his system's output, the WhatsApp morning brief or the Conductor console, is the opposite signal and is proof.
Anything implying a client relationship or outcome he can't evidence, and anything that lets a reader identify the retail client.
Polls, "agree?", "comment X for the link", follower milestones, "I'm humbled."
Day-in-the-life and productivity porn.
Reposts with a one-line comment.
Israeli politics or security commentary. The account is a business asset. Non-negotiable.
Any post before the profile rebuild is complete.
Content aimed at the מוסך/יבואן owner-operator. He is not here, and pretending otherwise corrupts the strategy for the audience LinkedIn actually delivers.
06 / Connections and DMs
Seed 40 guaranteed accepts before one cold request goes out
Phase 0, this week
Send 40 to 60 noteless invites, 10 to 15 a day, to people who accept at roughly 90% or better: former restaurant suppliers and staff, business-degree classmates, army contacts, the GoMobile people he already works with, Reey and the Monesys circle, and everyone in his phone who has a LinkedIn. Use My Network suggestions and the contact-sync import once, email only, never phone-contact sync, because that uploads his full address book including clients.
Why this ordering matters more than volume
LinkedIn's throttle keys on acceptance ratio and on sudden behavioural change, not on raw volume. A dormant account that fires 20 cold invites at 12% acceptance gets restricted. The same account with a 90% acceptance history and a commenting habit absorbs the ramp. It also gives every subsequent cold target a mutual-connections number, which is the single strongest accept signal in a market as small as Israel. Worth an estimated 5 to 10 percentage points on acceptance.
The 40-name comment list, which is the actual channel
Tier A · 12 to 15 names
Israeli tech, AI and automation people posting in Hebrew or English who draw 30 to 150 comments. Deliberately not the mega-accounts, because his comment drowns there.
Tier B · 15 to 20 names · highest value
Ops managers, finance and CFO, COO, heads of e-commerce, supply chain and procurement at Israeli companies at ₪10M or above. They post rarely and their comment sections are nearly empty, so his comment is the only one, read by exactly the right person. This is the tier everyone skips.
Tier C · 5 to 10 names
Global AI-agent and automation builders his Israeli audience already reads. Comment here for reach, not for leads.
Follow all 40, follow rather than connect. Notification bell on the top 10.
The comment standard: every comment is a mini-post
2 to 4 sentences, containing one specific thing the original post did not say: a number, a failure mode, what breaks at scale. Never "great post." Never a link. Never a pitch. A question only if it is genuinely open. Always in the language of the post, always within 90 minutes of publish, on posts that currently have 5 to 40 comments.
Example, on an agent-hype post
The piece missing from most agent setups is the approval gate. I run five agents on my own business and a defined set of their write actions cannot execute without my signature. Without that you do not have an operator, you have a liability.
Example, on an n8n or automation post
The thing that bites at month three is silent failure. Ten scheduled jobs is fine. Ten scheduled jobs where only three alert on failure is how you find out in week six.
Example, on an ops manager describing a process problem
ההקלדה הכפולה בין שתי המערכות היא בדרך כלל החלק הזול לתקן. החלק הקשה הוא להחליט איזו מערכת היא מקור האמת. ההחלטה הזאת היא 80% מהפרויקט.

Company size 1 to 10
2nd-degree only
For the operating-business audience
Do not chase ops managers with direct invites, because they ignore LinkedIn DMs almost entirely. Reach them through their accountants, their ERP implementers, and their own job ads. A company posting for a "data entry clerk" or an "operations coordinator" is publishing its manual-work tax.
Search quota note: searching by name in the top box, and browsing his own 1st-degree connections, do not count against the commercial use limit, which is roughly 300 a month, undisclosed, resets at midnight PST on the 1st, and Support will not lift it. So McLead does target identification off-platform and hands over named lists, preserving his entire search quota.
Literal message sequences

Why volume follows phase rather than a fixed cap: an aged but dormant account is the profile LinkedIn throttles hardest in the first month, and there is nothing to gain from 60 invites a week while the recipients are answering "נדבר אחרי החגים." The ceiling opens when the profile is finished and the market is back.
Realistic steady-state math
About 100 invites a week produces roughly 28 accepts, 3 to 5 replies, and 1 to 2 free 10-minute calls a week from about week 6 of the push. That is roughly 2 to 3 paid ₪250 consults a month by month 3. That is not a pipeline. It is a second channel. The content engine is the first.
The one genuinely asymmetric edge
Tom can deploy a personalised, branded, technically real one-page read to octomonic.com per high-value prospect in under an hour of agent time plus about 12 minutes of his own. Almost nobody in this market can do that. Reserve it for the 5 to 15 intent-search names per week. It is the only part of this plan that is a real edge rather than competent execution.
Sales Navigator, first week of October and not before
Core is $119.99 a month, and the trial requires no LinkedIn free trial in the past 365 days, so burning it in August destroys the option for October.
What it unlocks: removal of the commercial use limit, lifting of the roughly 5 personalised notes per month cap, higher profile-view ceilings, 50 InMails a month. What it does not unlock: any API access whatsoever.
Decision rule, set in advance so it is not relitigated emotionally: if the trial month does not produce at least 2 real conversations, cancel.

Community Management API: apply week 5 or 6, not week 1
Wait until the Page has 4 to 6 weeks of real posts, so the reviewer sees a live organisation and not a shell. Required: the business email tom@octomonic.com (personal addresses fail vetting), legal name, registered address, octomonic.com, and a live privacy policy URL. A missing privacy policy is the most common silent rejection, so McLead checks that first. Declare the use case as Page Management, never lead generation or prospecting, which are named restricted use cases and auto-reject.
Odds are 50/50. Do not bet the plan on it. Rejection is one-way per app, because LinkedIn does not allow re-applying for Development tier with an existing app and you must create a new one. That is why the Page must look real before submitting, and why the native-export analytics loop ships first as the primary rather than the fallback. Standard tier is realistically unreachable, since it needs a productised app with third-party users, a screencast and test credentials. Do not attempt it.

Week 0Wed 12 to Thu 13 AugProfile only. No posting.
Tom, about 3.5 h: Company Page, then dev app, then products, then custom URL, then photo shoot, then headline and About in English, then Experience times three plus Education plus Projects, then the settings pass, then the Hebrew profile version.
Tom, plus 1 h: assemble the 40-name list with McLead, follow all 40, bell on 10.
McLead: OG tags and OG cards deployed and Post-Inspector-verified, UTM and Notion capture live and stranger-tested, banner PNGs delivered in both LTR and mirrored RTL, Company Page seeded with 3 posts, OAuth build begins.
Tom: 5 comments a day, 0 to 3 connection requests. Featured wave 1 goes up only after the OG fix is verified.
Then let it sit 48 hours before any outreach.
Week 1Sun 16 to Thu 20 Aug · about 3.5 h of TomFirst two posts
Post 1 Sunday 09:00 (Hebrew, text, pillar 5). Post 2 Wednesday 09:00 (Hebrew, multi-image, PriceScope teardown, link in the first comment).
8 comments a day. 5 personalised connection requests. Seed-list noteless invites continue at 10 to 15 a day until the 40 to 60 layups are exhausted.
McLead: publisher live and tested on a throwaway draft, voice-note transcription pipeline running, Sunday batch pack delivered before Tom sits down, daily comment-target digest.
First DMs to accepted seed connections: none. Zero sales DMs in this window. Anyone saying "נדבר אחרי החגים" is telling the truth, and pushing costs the relationship.
Week 2Sun 23 to Thu 27 Aug · about 4.5 h of TomThe forwardable one, plus the video test
Post 3 Sunday (English carousel, AIOS governance). Post 4 Tuesday (Hebrew text, the four questions, highest intent). Post 5 Thursday (30-second screen recording, FloorView).
10 comments a day. 10 connection requests.
Featured wave 2: insert Posts 3 and 4 at positions 3 and 4.
Up to 5 first DMs, to 1st-degree connections accepted 3 or more days prior, using the literal opener above.
End-of-week-2 read: 30 to 80 followers, 60 to 140 cumulative profile views, 3 to 8 replies from target-list people, 0 to 2 DM conversations, 0 booked calls, which is expected.
Week 3Sun 30 Aug to Thu 3 Sep · about 3 h of Tom, which is where it settlesAsset 1 ships, video decided from data
2 to 3 posts: one from pillar 1 or 2, one teardown, one from pillar 4 or 5. Asset 1, "Ten systems, all clickable", ships this week as the English carousel.
10 to 12 comments a day. 15 to 25 connection requests.
Video decision made from data. If Post 5's completion and reach held, video becomes a fortnightly slot. If not, drop it and stay on documents.
McLead: first linkedin_ingest export parsed, and the weekly LinkedIn section appears in the AM brief.
Week 4Sun 6 to Thu 10 SepMonth-1 checkpoint
2 to 3 posts. Asset 3, the Hebrew spec-teardown carousel, ships. First self-critique teardown enters the rotation.
10 to 12 comments a day. 15 to 25 connection requests. Up to 10 DMs.
Community Management API application submitted. The Page now has 4 weeks of real activity, and the privacy policy is verified live first.
Month-1 checkpoint, see section 09.
From here to 4 October: hold the floor, accumulate, close nothing. 1 October: start the Sales Navigator trial.
09 / Kill criteria and honest checkpoints
Four pre-committed decision points, so none of this gets relitigated emotionally
10 SepCheckpoint 1: is the machine running?
Pass
8 or more posts shipped · 120 or more comments left · acceptance rate 35% or better · 3 or more replies a week from the 40-name list · profile views trending up.
Fail, and what it means
If posts shipped is the number that missed, the problem is Tom's time, not the strategy. Response: halve every target and hold the floor at 1 post plus 25 comments. Do not respond to a time failure by trying harder next week. That is how this dies in week 6 and never restarts. If acceptance rate is under 25%, the problem is the profile or the targeting, not volume. Stop sending, re-read the headline and Featured, retarget.
5 OctCheckpoint 2, the real one: did the eight weeks buy an asset?
Pass
18 to 22 posts live · 300 to 500 followers · 200 to 400 relevant connections · a finished profile · 10 to 30 real conversations logged. Revenue is explicitly not a pass criterion here. Proceed to the October DM push and the Sales Nav trial.
Fail condition, stated precisely
After about 20 posts and about 400 comments: under 150 followers and zero inbound conversations. That is not a cadence problem, it is an offer-framing or target-list problem. Do not respond by posting more. Response: rebuild the 40-name list from scratch, since the Tier B selection is the most likely culprit, and rewrite the pillar-1 hook. If "I have an idea" people are not self-identifying in the DMs, the Reality Check framing is not landing.
15 NovCheckpoint 3, six weeks into the push: does it convert?
Expect
1 to 2 free calls a week, 2 to 4 paid ₪250 consults booked in the period, and at least one Viability Assessment in conversation. Cancel the Sales Nav subscription if the trial month produced fewer than 2 real conversations. Pre-committed, non-negotiable.
If it is not converting
If free calls are happening but nothing converts to ₪250, the problem is the call itself, not LinkedIn. Fix the call. If there is nothing at all, LinkedIn is reaching people who are not buyers. Drop to maintenance: 1 post a week, 10 comments a week, about 30 minutes total, keeping the profile alive as a proof surface and referral graph, which it is worth being regardless. Do not delete the channel. Downgrade it.
31 DecCheckpoint 4: the honest verdict
LinkedIn was never going to move the $100k priority this quarter. It is a 2027 asset being planted now. If by 31 December it has produced zero paid engagements of any size, that is the point at which Tom stops treating it as a lead channel and reallocates the 4 to 5 hours a week to the channel that actually reaches the Israeli owner-operator: phone, WhatsApp, referral and physical presence. The profile, the Page, the demos in Featured and the artifact library all remain, cost nothing to maintain, and keep doing their real job, which is making him credible when someone who was referred to him looks him up.
The failure mode to watch for the whole way through, because it looks like success
Content that attracts other consultants instead of buyers. It inflates every vanity metric while producing zero pipeline, and it is the most common way a founder's LinkedIn effort dies while appearing to work. The Tier B comment quota and the utm_source=linkedin lead count are the two numbers that tell the truth about it.
10 / The five specialist verdicts
What each lens concluded, including where they disagreed
access-api
A self-serve app buys two products, and that is enough to publish to his personal profile.
Verified live against developer.linkedin.com and learn.microsoft.com/linkedin today. Sign In with OpenID Connect plus Share on LinkedIn covers text, image, video and PDF carousel posting to urn:li:person:{sub}, granted instantly with no review.
Will not work at any price for a one-person consultancy: DMs and InMail via API, connection requests, invitations, people search, viewing arbitrary profiles, exporting connections, and editing his own profile. Chasing partner status is a waste of time, since both Community Management Standard tier and SNAP require a productised app with third-party users, a screencast and test credentials, and an internal tool posting to one man's profile fails that review.
Where the account actually dies: third-party automation. User Agreement 8.2, and the HeyReach executives who lost their personal profiles in 2026.
profile
The profile is not underperforming, it does not exist. That makes this greenfield, and the aged account is an advantage you cannot buy.
The hard truth that shapes everything: a profile converts nothing on its own. It is the landing page, not the traffic. Comments and DMs are the traffic, and no amount of copy fixes that.
Will not work: expecting an ops manager at a mid-size firm to discover Tom through this profile. That visitor almost always arrives already referred or already reading a comment thread, and treats the profile as a background check, not a discovery. Also will not work: the Company Page as a distribution channel.
One verified problem found: the sample viability assessment page has zero Open Graph tags, so the single most important Featured item would render as a bare grey link. Fix that before featuring it.
content
From roughly zero followers his first 20 posts reach nobody unless commenting is the primary channel.
The good news is that his proof is rare: 10 clickable demos plus a five-agent system with gated write-actions is concrete practitioner evidence at a moment when most AI consultants have slides and nothing running.
Will not work: expecting posts alone to generate reach (weeks 1 to 8 are 10:1 comments to posts or nothing happens), video as a starting format, reaching the מוסך/יבואן owner-operator here, and revenue before 5 October.
Correct framing: the next 8 weeks are free. He is starting inside the dead window, the cheapest possible time to make his first twenty posts badly. The single thing that would destroy this is agent-written posts.
outbound-dm
LinkedIn will not be the pipeline this quarter. It will be the proof surface and the referral graph, and those are worth building anyway.
At a safe ceiling: roughly 100 invites a week produces about 28 accepts, 3 to 5 replies, and 1 to 2 free calls a week at steady state from week 6 onward. That is maybe 2 to 3 paid ₪250 consults a month by month 3. Anything promising more from an empty aged profile is lying to him.
Three things specifically will not work: cold DMs to operating-business ops managers at volume, posting as a lead source, and asking for the ₪250 consult in a DM.
The one genuinely asymmetric asset: a personalised, branded, technically real one-page read deployed per prospect in under an hour of agent time. Almost nobody in this market can do that.
funnel-measure
Two things must ship before a single click arrives, and neither can be backfilled.
The funnel has never processed a real stranger, since the Notion Leads DB contains exactly 2 rows, both Tom's own tests. And there is zero UTM capture anywhere on the site, so a LinkedIn lead is currently indistinguishable from a walk-in. Both are cheap to fix now at zero volume.
What genuinely differentiates Tom is not content strategy. It is that he can link to 10 working demos and a public sample spec while every competing AI consultant links to opinions. The entire plan should be built around driving cold traffic into a specific demo rather than around posting volume.
Will not work: chasing impressions, a Company Page, buying Premium in month 1, any scraping tool against his own account to skip the manual creator export, and GA4 as the decision surface, which is unconfigured today and would be noise at 40 sessions a month regardless.
The one thing that could quietly sink this is voice. A single fabricated number, or one identifiable detail about the unnameable retail client, is unrecoverable with this audience.
11 / Closing
What only Tom can do, in order
Decide the restaurant question
Variant A or Variant B, plus a yes or no on Experience entry 3, the three operator skills, and content pillar 5. Nothing else in section 04 can be pasted until this is decided, and the Hebrew profile version depends on it too.
Create the Company Page, then the developer app
About 50 minutes. The app cannot exist without the Page, and nothing is automatable without the app. Send the Client ID and Primary Client Secret to McLead by DM when the Auth tab is done.
Shoot the photo this morning
Phone, window light, dark or mid-tone wall, head and shoulders. Then shrink it to 48px and check that it still reads. No AI headshot.
Paste the profile and edit it
Headline, About, Experience times three, Education, Projects, Skills, then the settings pass and the Hebrew version. If you cannot find one word to change in the About, you did not read it.
Comment. Every day. Twenty minutes.
This is the one line item that cannot be delegated, cannot be automated, and cannot be skipped for a build week. Five a day this week, eight next week, then ten to twelve. Everything else in this document is downstream of it.
Speak your posts before anyone writes them
Three to four minutes into your phone, one topic. Agents transcribe and split. You pick, cut, and write the first line and the last line. Nothing publishes that you did not speak first.
The honest frame, one more time: judge month one on posts shipped and acceptance rate. Judge 5 October on whether the asset exists. Do not judge either on revenue, because the plan does not predict revenue before November, and neither should you.
